3D scanning company Physical Digital® will be exhibiting its range of reverse engineering, inspection and design services at DEVELOP3D Live on Tuesday 28th March at the Warwick Arts Centre.
3D scanning transforms other 3D technologies
With only two weeks to go until Develop3D Live, preparations are underway for the engineering design event of the year. Physical Digital will be demonstrating how to capture 3D data of the highest quality in order to transform a broad variety of 3D technologies downstream. Using the German-developed GOM ATOS Triple Scan optical measurement systems, Physical Digital has been providing highly accurate and reliable data for over twelve years, enabling designers and engineers to improve the concept modelling of products, reduce errors and assure high quality projects.
The 3D scanning, reverse engineering and quality inspection offered by Physical Digital are in constant demand from a variety of different sectors, including automotive, aerospace, jewellery, film, animation, museums and design. Our data capture and complementary services have assisted clients to create the most accurate, lifelike, stunning designs. “Accurate measurement is the starting point, mid point and end point for all design projects,” points out Managing Director Tim Rapley, who founded the company in 2005. ”From the data we capture, our clients can improve prototypes, confirm quality and increase cost-effectiveness through time saving and reduced wastage.”
Tim and other expert engineers from our design and applications teams will be on Stand 62 in Butterworth Hall, in the centre of the exhibition, to showcase our services.
Design, Engineering and Manufacturing Speakers
Develop3D Live is the UK’s leading conference and exhibition, celebrating design, engineering and manufacturing technology. This year, more than 35 speakers will be presenting at the event, making it the largest range of experts, technologists and designs that Develop3D has seen.
As well as the mainstage presentations, there will be many speakers from a number of different industries, including automotive design, motorsport and product design. Some of the speakers include John Mathers, Director of British Design Fund, and Dan Staples, Vice President Development of Siemens PLM Software.
The one-day event, now in its sixth year, is run by DEVELOP3D magazine. Since 2011, the event has expanded to include four seminar rooms, featuring five focused tracks, with 38 speakers and over 70 exhibitors. For 2017, the exhibition floor has been expanded to allow more dedicated spaces for ‘hands-on’ technology demonstrations in the public spaces. Opening at 8am, the conference starts at 9.10am, finishing at 5.15pm.
