Physical Digital® attended Control, the international trade fair of quality assurance, held in Stuttgart, Germany, this week to see what the latest worldwide offerings are for useful technologies, processes, products and system solutions in the field of industrial quality assurance.
The conference invites a large array of manufacturers and suppliers to exhibit their latest technologies and showcase new products, as well as allowing the vast number of attendees the opportunity to test these during live product demonstrations.
Our team also took the time to attend Q&A sessions with some manufacturers, and this year particularly enjoyed break-out sessions hosted by our supplier GOM, on measurement challenges that face the automotive industry, a key industry sector for Physical Digital.
Remaining a market leader
In order to support our continued growth and ensure we offer the latest developments in technology in the field of optical 3D metrology to our customers, we constantly review and update our equipment, processes and procedures and ensure that we are able to provide our customers with the highest level of service possible.
Whilst at the show we took the opportunity to upgrade our ATOS Compact Scanner to the most recent model 12M, allowing for high level of detail resolution, higher accuracy and faster scanning of large measuring areas. Our founder and Managing Director Tim Rapley also attended a demonstration of the ATOS Series 5 and Series 5X – the next innovation in ATOS measurement.
Tim commented: “This show is always a key event for us to attend as it gives us an opportunity to see what’s coming from our supplier GOM. It is vital that we stay abreast of the latest developments in 3D Optical Metrology, but also to remain informed as to what is available from other competitors in this space. To have this understanding of future market developments allows us to forward plan our strategy and resource to ensure we offer any advancements to our customers, setting ourselves apart from other 3D measurement service providers. These events are always great to catch up with fellow industry representatives and offer us a chance to continue to strengthen relationships with our key suppliers.”
