For the second year running, Physical Digital® are delighted to have been awarded with the SafeContractor accreditation. The award is issued by the Alcumus group, who provide technology-led compliance services and support clients to manage and implement an effective Health and Safety system.
Physical Digital’s application for SafeContractor accreditation was driven by the need to demonstrate a uniform standard across the business. We want our customers to feel assured that our methods of practise conform to industry Health and Safety standards, both on our own premises as well as when we are out at customer sites delivering mobile 3D measurement services.
As part of the renewal for achieving our latest accreditation, Physical Digital completed a vetting process for the categories 3D modelling and Inspection and Testing services. This involved our Health and safety policy and processes to be examined as well as providing evidence that we meet the legal Health and Safety requirements for the size of our business.
Tim Rapley, Founder and Director of Physical Digital commented:
“To achieve our SafeContrator award is particularly poignant for us this year. As a business that has recently moved to a larger premise, we have had to revisit all of our Health and Safety practises, so to be reaccredited for a second year is brilliant. Not only will this industry-recognised accreditation help us win new business, but it reaffirms to our existing customers that our staff and equipment are operating safely whilst conducting measurement projects.”
